The College of Nursing (CON) at the University of the Cordilleras (UC) won the Gold Award in the UC Green Is In Video Competition, held on February 28, 2023, at the UC Theater. The award-winning video focused on mental health and followed the lead actors, Ronald Louise Austin Dancel and John Ray Dulos, as they navigated its challenges.

The project was directed by Jehan Xyna Montilla, with Dancel serving as Assistant Director. Other team members included Casey Todlem and Alyssa Julia Escobar. The video aimed to highlight the complexities of mental health issues faced by students.

Gilbert D. Bernardino Jr., faculty member at the College of Nursing, coached the team. The competition provided an opportunity to engage the UC community in meaningful discussions on important topics such as mental health.
