On July 22, 2023, the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC-CON) faculty gathered at the UC Theater for a Faculty Development Plan (FDP) training and workshop, led by Dean Judith Odanee G. Magwilang. This event focused on the importance of continuous education, professional growth, and the roles of both faculty and administration in fostering academic excellence.

Guest speakers Mr. Mark Gay-as and Dr. Jude Tayaben from Benguet State University facilitated sessions that highlighted opportunities for faculty development, the impact of ongoing learning on educational quality, and strategies for faculty to effectively support students. This workshop reinforced UC-CON’s commitment to advancing nursing education and ensuring that faculty members are equipped to meet the evolving demands of healthcare education.
