On October 15, 2023, faculty members from the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC-CON) attended the 1st Postgraduate Course (9th Scientific Forum) themed “Eat, Play, Sleep, Repeat: Bridging Gaps in Common Childhood Issues,” hosted by the Saint Louis University Sacred Heart Medical Center’s Department of Pediatrics at the Newtown Plaza Convention Center.
The course, organized by Dr. Clinton Balud and Dr. Analee Manalo, aimed to address critical pediatric health concerns, focusing on feeding issues, the importance of play, and sleeping problems among children. The event attracted a diverse group of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, midwives, and students from various health disciplines.
