On February 14, 2024, the University of the Cordilleras’ Youth and Adolescent Sexuality and Reproductive Health (UYAHH) program teamed up with the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) to host a significant event dedicated to HIV screening and counseling. This initiative sought to enhance awareness and dismantle the barriers related to sexual health. Collaborating with the College of Nursing Student Council (CON-CSC), the event featured an educational booth focused on promoting safe sex practices. Participants were provided with complimentary male and female condoms, lubricants, and contraceptive pills, along with essential information about reproductive health. This partnership exemplifies a strong commitment to nurturing empowerment and health consciousness among the youth, paving the way for a safer and healthier future for everyone involved.
