Promoting health awareness, inclusivity, and empowerment through partnership and advocacy.
In celebration of Women’s Month, the College of Nursing Student Council (CSC-CON), in collaboration with the University of the Cordilleras Youth and Adolescent Sexuality and Reproductive Health Hub (UYAHH), the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP), and the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), hosted a dynamic series of interactive health booths on March 15, 2024, at Gate 3 of the University of the Cordilleras.
Students, faculty, and visitors eagerly participated in various health education activities, including reproductive health awareness, wellness games, and counseling sessions. Exciting giveaways and interactive discussions created an atmosphere of unity, empowerment, and celebration, reinforcing the importance of women’s health and well-being within the UC community.
The initiative not only honored women’s contributions to health and society but also strengthened community engagement and advocacy for gender equality. The organizers express heartfelt gratitude to all who participated and supported the event, making it a meaningful celebration that inspired awareness, solidarity, and empowerment.
