The College of Nursing emerged victorious in the 2023–2024 UC #GreenIsIn Video-Making Competition held in March 2024, securing first place among the competing teams. Their winning entry showcased the inspiring true story of Gemma, a student nurse at UC CON, who balances her roles as a ballerina and a mother. Through Gemma’s journey, viewers are taken on a poignant narrative that portrays her life as a dance on a grand stage, filled with challenges, aspirations, and determination. The video powerfully conveys the message that true success lies not in trophies and medals but in the character and resilience developed throughout one’s journey.

A total of 13 teams participated in this competition, making the College of Nursing’s achievement even more commendable. This recognition reflects the creativity and dedication of the students and their ability to convey meaningful stories that resonate with audiences while promoting the spirit of environmental awareness championed by the #GreenIsIn initiative.
