UC College of Nursing Holds 19th Clinical Graduation for Batch 2024

The University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC-CON) celebrated the 19th Clinical Graduation of Batch 2024on June 29, 2024, at the UC Theater, honoring 281 student nurses who successfully completed their clinical requirements across hospital and community health settings.

Keynote speaker Ms. Vanessa Joy P. Gasat inspired the graduates to champion universal health care, emphasizing the vital role of nurses in advancing equitable health access. “You will be at the forefront of health initiatives,” she affirmed, “and your voice and actions will shape the future of healthcare.”

The ceremony also recognized Outstanding Student Nurses for their exemplary performance in clinical practice, leadership, and community engagement. The event reflected UC-CON’s unwavering dedication to producing competent, compassionate, and service-oriented nurse leaders prepared to make a meaningful impact in healthcare delivery.

SDG 3.C – Substantially increase the recruitment, development, training, and retention of the health workforce.
