On July 17, 2024, the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC-CON) warmly welcomed faculty and students from the University of Texas School of Nursing at the UC Auditorium. The visit formed part of Baguio City’s CABSAT (Communities Aligning Baguio and San Antonio Texas) partnership, which aims to strengthen academic, cultural, and professional linkages between institutions across nations.

The gathering served as a platform for cross-cultural exchange and collaborative learning in nursing education and community health. Through presentations, discussions, and interaction, both institutions shared insights into nursing practices, education systems, and public health programs, enriching participants’ global perspectives on healthcare delivery.

The event highlighted UC-CON’s commitment to international collaboration and the advancement of nursing education through global partnerships, contributing to its mission of producing competent and compassionate nurses prepared for service in diverse settings.
