UC College of Nursing Partners with Barangay Sta. Escolastica for Health Outreach Program

Extending Healthcare Services Amid Adversity

Despite the heavy rain, Atty. Paolo Salvosa and representatives from the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC-CON), in collaboration with Barangay Sta. Escolastica, successfully conducted a health outreach program aimed at providing essential healthcare services to local residents.

The outreach included vital signs assessmenthealth education, and other basic health services delivered by UC-CON students and faculty. These activities not only supported the immediate health needs of the community but also reinforced the college’s commitment to public service and experiential learning.

The collaboration highlighted the importance of community involvement and intersectoral partnerships in addressing healthcare challenges. By working closely with local leaders and residents, UC-CON continues to foster meaningful engagement and strengthen the link between academic learning and community service.
