Eight student nurses from the University of the Cordilleras, accompanied by Mr. Gilbert Bernardino and Mrs. Deksi Lawangen, proudly represented the university at the 22nd National Conference for Nursing Students, held on October 6, 2024, at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel. This year’s theme, “Strengthening Quality Assurance in Nursing Education for a Sustainable Health Workforce,” focused on enhancing nursing’s future by promoting excellence and vital competencies in healthcare.

During the event, four student nurse researchers showcased their work through poster presentations, highlighting the importance of their research in advancing the fields of nursing and healthcare. The presenters included two groups from Level 4: Jomel B. Dumlao and Polly Fulangen, alongside Ashlyn Rhie Amoy and Januel Camarao.
