Celebrating Teamwork, Discipline, and School Pride in the Spirit of Sportsmanship
The University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC CON) once again demonstrated its spirit of dedication and excellence during the University Intramurals Grand Opening held on December 10, 2024, at the University Gymnasium, University of the Cordilleras, Baguio City. The event was a vibrant celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and school pride, and UC CON left an indelible mark on the festivities.
UC CON’s cheerleading team delivered a powerful and synchronized performance that secured them the 1st Runner-Upspot in the fiercely competitive cheerleading competition. Their display of enthusiasm and energy stood out despite the challenges of balancing rehearsals with academic responsibilities, clinical duties, and preparations for their upcoming final exams.
Adding to their achievements, UC CON was also recognized for their outstanding performance in last year’s intramurals, receiving trophies for being the 2nd Runner-Up in both Men’s and Women’s Basketball. These accolades reflect the college’s consistent commitment to excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.
The event not only celebrated sportsmanship but also reinforced the values of collaboration, perseverance, and holistic student growth that define the UC College of Nursing.
