On the afternoon of April 21, 2025, following the successful Safety Olympics, the UC Gymnasium was once again filled with energy and anticipation as nursing students assembled for Quiz Bee Communidad 2025. Organized by the UC College of Nursing, the event brought together representatives from all sections of Level 2, 3, and 4 for a spirited academic competition that highlighted knowledge, teamwork, and UC-CON pride.
The program began with the formal opening led by Quiz Bee Masters Mr. Ferdinand C. Tercero and Ms. Sonia Olnanigon, who not only welcomed participants but also clearly explained the objectives and mechanics of the quiz bee—setting expectations and ensuring that all teams were well-informed and ready for the challenge.

The competition consisted of three rounds—Easy, Average, and Difficult—featuring questions rooted in Community Health Nursing and other foundational nursing subjects. The structure encouraged quick thinking, subject mastery, and collaborative problem-solving.

Select faculty members served as moderators, keeping the event organized and on track. Oversight of the question integrity was handled by Mr. Gilbert Bernardino and Ms. Earhashia Soriano. Meanwhile, Ms. Lily Rose Focasan and Mrs. Julie Padilla managed the timekeeping, and Mrs. Imelda Payas headed the tabulation of scores, ensuring fairness and accuracy throughout the competition.

Quiz Bee Communidad 2025 was more than just a contest—it was a celebration of academic excellence and community spirit within the UC Nursing family. Congratulations to all the participants, faculty, and organizers who contributed to the success of this enriching event!
