UC Nursing Laboratory Receives Certificate of Appreciation for Quality Advocacy

Baguio City, Philippines – August 26, 2025 — The University of the Cordilleras (UC) Nursing Laboratory has once again been recognized for its excellence, receiving a Certificate of Appreciation as a Quality Advocate for School Year 2024–2025, after achieving 100% compliance with the 5-Year Relevance Policy.

This marks the second time the UC Nursing Laboratory has been honored by the Office of Quality Assurance and Data Protection, reaffirming its consistent commitment to sustaining relevance and alignment of Educational Organization Management System (EOMS) processes and documentation.

The award was presented by Elizabeth S. Salapong, Director of the Office of Quality Assurance and Data Protection, and was received by Ms. Maribel Certeza, College of Nursing Laboratory Technician, on August 26, 2025, at the University of the Cordilleras, Baguio City.

The recognition affirms the Nursing Laboratory’s vital role in supporting the academic development of UC nursing students while promoting consistency, innovation, and quality in institutional processes. It also contributes to the advancement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Quality Education (SDG 4)and Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3).

This milestone demonstrates UC’s culture of excellence and continuous improvement, serving as an inspiration to other academic units within the institution.
