Mr. Lester June Chumacog, MAN, RN, faculty member of the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC-CON), represented the institution at the 9th Annual Postgraduate Course – APEX (Achieving the Pinnacle of Excellence in Cardiovascular Care) held at the Philippine Heart Center.

APEX 2025 gathered leading cardiology specialists and healthcare professionals to discuss emerging advancements in cardiovascular medicine and nursing care. The conference featured in-depth sessions on Ischemic Heart DiseaseCongenital and Valvular Heart Disease, and Vascular Medicine and Electrophysiology, led by renowned experts in the field.

Participants also engaged in interactive sessions, including “Beat-to-Beat: War of Wits” and “ECG Mastermind 2025,” designed to enhance clinical reasoning, diagnostic accuracy, and interdisciplinary problem-solving skills.

Mr. Chumacog’s participation exemplifies UC-CON’s commitment to continuous professional development, ensuring that faculty members remain at the forefront of healthcare innovations.
