April 22, 2025 – University of the Cordilleras Gymnasium
The University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing proudly concluded Day 2 of Communidad 2025 with the grand coronation of Mr. and Miss Communidad 2025, an event that brought together beauty, intellect, and cultural pride under the theme “Igniting Unity, Partnership, and Sustainable Growth.”
The pageant served not only as a platform to highlight the confidence and talents of student leaders but also as an avenue to promote cultural identity and community engagement. The gymnasium was filled with loud cheers and festive energy as candidates showcased their poise, cultural roots, and advocacies before an enthusiastic audience comprising students, faculty, and community partners.
A panel of esteemed judges—Ms. Wynona L. Galvan, Ms. Hazel S. Dominguez, and Mr. Jasper R. Bidos—carefully evaluated each contender on their presence, cultural representation, and overall performance.
Before the final crowning, special awards were presented to participants who made an exceptional impression during the competition:
- Mr. Photogenic: Jade Kezent Damey
- Miss Photogenic: Vanessa Labayog
- Best in Production Number: Leo Naz Marrero and Jay Lei Karl Patague
- Best in Casual Wear: Leo Naz Marrero and Jay Lei Karl Patague
- Best in Ethnic Attire: Leo Naz Marrero and Eloheim Delight Batac
- Best in Formal Attire: Dherk Lance Yacuan and Joeresa Mae Aquino
