The College of Nursing Student Council (CON CSC), in collaboration with the UC Youth and Adolescent Health Hub (UYAHH) under Health iCON, earned the recognition of Most Visited Booth during the SJE Academic Trade Fair 2025, held from July 9 to 12, 2025 at the University of the Cordilleras Theater.

Organized by the Society of Junior Entrepreneurs (SJE), the annual fair provided a platform for student-led initiatives and services. The booth from the College of Nursing stood out for offering free health services and reproductive health advocacy, drawing large crowds throughout the four-day event.

Activities and Services Offered

The booth offered the following services:

  • Vital Signs Monitoring, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature checks to assess general health.
  • Blood Sugar Testing (Random and Fasting), allowing visitors to check for signs of high or low blood sugar levels.
  • Blood Typing, which provided individuals with knowledge of their ABO and Rh blood type—essential for medical emergencies and future healthcare needs.
  • Free Contraceptive Distribution by UYAHH, along with counseling on safe sex and STI prevention, promoting responsible reproductive health.

These services not only addressed the immediate health concerns of students but also served as a platform for awareness and prevention—core values in public health and nursing practice.
