On July 18, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC-CON), in collaboration with the Philippine Nurses Association – Cordillera Administrative Region (PNA-CAR), hosted a nursing forum focused on current issues and research developments in the United States and Canada.
The event featured two esteemed guest speakers: Dr. Edward Cruz, who presented his latest research findings, and Dr. James Montegrico, who shared valuable insights on the evolving challenges and opportunities for nurses in North America. Their discussions emphasized the importance of evidence-based practice, cultural competence, and innovation in the global nursing landscape.
The forum provided UC-CON faculty and nursing students with meaningful perspectives on international nursing practices, fostering professional growth and preparing them for global engagement in education, research, and clinical practice.
