Showcasing Excellence, Innovation, and Teamwork in Nursing Education
In observance of Nurses Week 2025 with the theme “Innovate, Advocate, Transform: The Power of Nurses in Building a Resilient Health System,” the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC CON) proudly recognizes the outstanding achievement of its students who meritoriously earned the title of 3rd Runner-Up in the Student Quiz Beeheld on October 30, 2025, at CFERMTC, Carmay East, Rosales, Pangasinan.
Representing UC CON were student delegates Jefferson Salingbay Banawa, Allysa Gayle Bentayen Balisong, Alona Vicente Saltin, and Francine Kate Camut Milo, who showcased exceptional teamwork, critical thinking, and knowledge across diverse nursing concepts. Their exemplary performance reflected both academic rigor and the spirit of camaraderie that defines the UC CON learning community.


The team was mentored by dedicated coaches Louise Adrian P. Gamboa, Sonia C. Olnanigon, and Wilver V. Disu, whose guidance and support greatly contributed to this success. Their collective effort demonstrates UC CON’s continued commitment to promoting student excellence, professional growth, and leadership in nursing education.
