Advancing Faculty Leadership and Professional Growth

Another batch of faculty members from the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (UC – CONAHS) completed the Leadership Foundations (LEAF) Course held on January 22 and 23, 2025, at Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC). The program is designed to develop leadership competencies among healthcare educators and practitioners, equipping them with essential skills in communication, decision-making, and professional accountability within clinical and academic settings.
Representing UC in this training were Lily Christy D. Baludda, Daisy B. Itchock, Beth B. Viduya, and Grace C. Espino. Their participation reflects UC’s continuing commitment to faculty development and to strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and healthcare facilities. Through structured modules and practical leadership exercises, the participants gained valuable insights that will further enhance their roles as nurse educators and leaders, contributing to improved learning environments and quality health services.
