UC-CON Faculty and Staff Join Internal Quality Audit Training

The University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC-CON) continues its commitment to quality and excellence by participating in the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Training – Batch 2 Series. This training aims to enhance compliance with ISO 21001:2018 standards and prepare the university for the upcoming external audit.

Dean Judith Odanee G. Magwilang led the on-campus UC-CON team, joined by Level 4 Coordinator Dr. Sheila Maria Batoon, Level 3 Coordinator Mrs. Josephine Minger, faculty member Mrs. Grace Espino, and administrative staff Mr. Romeo Fernandez. Meanwhile, contributing off-campus were Level 2 Coordinator Mrs. Nasper Anod and Program Coordinator and Quality Assurance Officer Mrs. Judith Layao, whose active participation underscores UC-CON’s unified commitment to quality assurance.

The training provides participants with updated knowledge of internal auditing processes, helping identify areas for improvement and ensuring that all procedures align with international benchmarks. UC-CON’s proactive participation in initiatives like this showcases its drive for continuous improvement, not just for the institution but also for its faculty, staff, and students.
