Launching a New Era: Mass Induction and Leadership Summit 2024

Empowering future nurse leaders through collaboration, integrity, and purpose.

The University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing Student Council (UC-CON CSC) officially began its leadership term with a Mass Induction Ceremony held on January 26, 2024, at the UC Gymnasium. The ceremony marked a new chapter for student leaders as they took their oath under the theme “Alpas: Redefining Excellence Through Servant Leadership.”

Through this event, student leaders pledged to serve their fellow nursing students with empathy and dedication, guiding them through the academic journey while fostering a culture of unity, responsibility, and excellence.

In the afternoon, the Leadership Summit brought together students from various levels to exchange ideas and strengthen their leadership capabilities. The summit encouraged teamwork and self-reflection, highlighting the role of servant leadership in creating meaningful change within the college and the wider community.

By cultivating leadership grounded in service, UC-CON continues to uphold its mission of shaping competent and compassionate nurse leaders—professionals who not only excel in clinical practice but also embody the values of integrity, collaboration, and social responsibility.
