UC CON Level 4 Students Embrace Growth in “Nurturing Self and Team” Workshop

The Level 4 students of the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing (UC CON) successfully participated in the enhancement activity “Nurturing Self and Team: A Workshop for Nursing Excellence” held on December 13, 2024, at the UC Theater. Miss Vanessa P. Gasat, the Nursing Licensure Exam Coordinator, initiated the program, which was spearheaded by Dr. Virgo C. Lopez, who served as the event’s speaker and facilitator.

The workshop aimed to develop essential skills in self-awareness and team collaboration—critical for future nursing professionals navigating classroom learning and real-world healthcare settings.


Empowering Future Nurses

With the theme “Unity in Reflection, Excellence in Action: Empowering Future Nurses through Self-Awareness and Collaboration,” the program encouraged nursing students to reflect on their personal growth while fostering stronger teamwork and communication skills.

The workshop’s specific objectives included:
