Six UCian Student Nurses Secure Top Spots in AGT Nursing Olympics, Qualifying for National Competition

In a remarkable showcase of skill and knowledge, six student nurses from the University of the Cordilleras excelled at the prestigious Anastasia Giron Tupas (AGT) Nursing Olympics held on March 20, 2024, at T. Alonzo St., Baguio City. Earning both 1st and 3rd place, these exceptional UCian representatives distinguished themselves as frontrunners in the competition. Their impressive achievements have secured them a ticket to advance to the national level, scheduled for May 2024.

The 1st place winners included Jaysiebelle Lam-In (4th year), Lavern Klyde Agorilla (3rd year), and Francine Milo (2nd year), while the 3rd place was claimed by Kayzee Oviedo (4th year), Nicholai Escalona (3rd year), and Melchor Joemar Sicco (2nd year). The students triumphed under the expert guidance of their esteemed coaches, Clinical Instructor Vanessa Gasat, along with 4th-year students Clydee Pinkihan and John Dave Abran. This outstanding success in the AGT Nursing Olympics-Quiz Bee reflects the dedication and hard work of these student nurses and their mentors.
